I am always amazed at how creative people are. I often hear stories of people who were able to write the first draft of a book in a day.
Well, that’s what I was doing as a kid. After all, I was reading for fun.
I was a little bit more adventurous when I was 12. I learned to read. All the time I was reading, I would see how the characters were doing. I learned that there was a certain quality of people who were able to write the first draft. I learned that not every individual character can write a page. I learned to think of what characters are doing, and how to do it.
I can only imagine what the first drafts looked like from the perspective of someone who had never written before. What I can say is, I have learned that it is really hard to write a book in the first place. I have learned that it is really hard to edit on the first page. I have learned that it is really hard to edit in the middle of the first sentence. I have learned that it is really hard to write the last sentence.
So if you’ve been writing for a long time and you have a lot of ideas, it’s hard to know which ones are worth sending up to the editor, and which ones should be discarded. Which leads us to the issue of what you should put on the first page. The most important thing to get right is a clear sense of what the main character’s goals are, and the biggest mistake is to write them as if the writer is writing for another writer.
To summarize, our protagonist starts the game as a hacker. He is a hacker because, well, he wants to hack the game and make the rest of the characters in it suffer, so lets just put him on that path. His goal is to hack the game in order to have a happy ending.
The problem is that we don’t always know exactly what he is thinking before we even get to the game. We can make sure that there is no doubt there. We can always find him in the game, but we have to start with a certain level of certainty so that we don’t make it hard for him to guess which of the games he will play.
We could also use the concept of having a realistic story, that is, telling a story that is more realistic. The idea is to have a believable story and characters that actually act as a story from the start, but that is only for the developers or the viewers. We could write a story that starts out like this: we just have to have a realistic backstory and characters that are actually really real or what we want to do is the first few moves happen.
If you have a story to tell, how you start it up is important. If you start with a nice little fantasy, then it’s a bit of a disaster. If you start with a story that doesn’t seem to be very realistic, then it will not seem like something that’s believable. That is why we wrote this brainstorming template.
The first paragraph is very important, but the second paragraph is also so much more important than that. We want to get into the first paragraph, read all the stories, and then figure out the second paragraph.
